Unique beaches
Each beach in Santorini has special characteristics which make it unique and also make your vacations outstanding in this beautiful island! Most beaches are well organized offering the choice of lounging chairs, umbrellas, and various water sports. Most of Santorini’s beaches are composed of dark volcanic sand, have unique land formations and the black, white and red sand make up an unforgettable scenery.
Kamari, Monolithos and Avis are located in the south-eastern part of the island and are organized, mainly preferred by families with small children.
Perissa and Perivolos are two of the most famous beaches of Santorini. These two beaches together form the longest black-sanded beach on the island.

Access
By air: Santorini can be reached by air from Athens. During the summer period there are additional flights between Santorini and other islands and charter flights from abroad. Also Santorini can be reached from most international airports via Athens.
By boat: travel to Santorini by boat from the Port of Piraeus. There is a regular ferry boat service to Santorini and it takes an average of nine to ten hours or there is the speed one that it takes about 5 to 6 hours.
